Congratulations on your achievements thus far. You have chosen the Traditional track, which aligns itself with the versatile Eventing discipline. On this site you will find the expectations for each test along with the dressage test you will be expected to ride for evaluation. Additionally, there is a “suggested” gymnastic line that may be utilized by the examiners.

Read carefully the Standards of Proficiency so you can ensure you understand the specifics of what the examiners are seeking during the testing. As examiners we refer to these standards during a testing to make sure we are not asking for less or more than what is in the expectation. It is your responsibility to understand what is required.

While you might hear us say it in the briefing, often candidates do not fully comprehend how much we truly want you to be successful. We take no pleasure in telling a candidate they “do not meet standards”. That being said, it is our responsibility to uphold the standards so that they will remain meaningful. Please come prepared.
